CORPORATE COMMUNICATION POLICY
The Corporate (Internal and External) Communication programme will include the following initiatives:
Internal communication:
Annual Internal Communication plan will be prepared in (December every year) for next year and approved by the CEO. Quarterly Report and Annual Report for Internal Communication will be submitted to the CEO for review.
External communication:
- Top management will assess external communication needs annually/quarterly along with annual budget geared by the strategic initiatives and the corporate target for each year to achieve its growth strategy.
- An annual /quarterly plan for the external communication process is prepared based on the level of engagement required (interest and influence) for each stakeholder and above needs. This will be derived jointly by the Marketing Manager & Business Development. Once the activity detail and the time frame for each is finalized, the implementation will take place, the advertisements will be checked by the respective Business Development and reviewed / approved by the CEO.
- Advertisement budgets will be varied according to the percentage of the annual revenue in consultation with CEO and it will be xx% of the Annual net profit.
- All advertisements are as per the governmental guidelines.eg: brand book.
- All media i.e. Print Traditional & Digital (Newspaper/ leaflets/Magazines/Booklets), Radio, Stage Shows, online etc. will be used as per the requirements of the Sales/Marketing/top management team and brand book control approval by CEO as appropriate.
- Public Relations (PR) campaigns will be carried out in consultation with the CEO.
- EDC Branding / Branding guidelines & other prestigious certifications/awards logos (on letter head) –will be used in all the external communications.
- Marketing/ Business Development is only authorized to give out press release speech, and press conference with the approval of the CEO.
- All EDC Vehicles/collaterals will have EDC branding and all training instructors, Fleet & Facility will be in EDC Uniforms.
- Direct and indirect awareness campaigns will be prepared based on the communication best practices plan and to be approved by the Marketing/ Business developments
- Assessment and improvement of advertising effectiveness will be conducted yearly.
Annual Communication plan (including CSR initiatives, CSR objectives and overall annual CSR budget) will be prepared in December for next year and approved by the CEO.
Monthly/Quarterly Report and Annual Communication Report will be submitted to the CEO for their review and necessary external communication.
This policy will be reviewed every 3 years for its continual improvement & suitability and will be amended if required.
