SHARING BEST PRACTICE POLICY
EDC is committed to sharing best practices internally for the benefit of all employees to drive learning, adoption of those best practices (where possible) and continual improvement by all employees.
EDC will develop and implement a sharing best practices mechanism to meet the following objectives:
- To ensure that all managers or employees who attend any external training or exhibitions or fairs, communicate the best practices identified to relevant Heads of Departments and HR by internal communication (e-mail etc.) and where require present the same to them by way of presentation.
- To ensure that learning made by introducing any new products, services, processes, software, hardware, equipment, procedure or handling any new customers, suppliers – are formally logged and shared with all relevant personnel internally.
- There will be “Share Best practices – Shared Folder or Portal” – which can be accessed by all for logging or reading any best practices.
- Where possible EDC Managers or Staff will attend “Share Best Practices” conducted by Government Departments within UAE and identify the best practices which are very relevant to EDC and how they can be adopted & implemented at EDC.
- Periodic review will be made about “successful implementation of these best practices within EDC.”
This policy will be reviewed every 3 years for its continual improvement & suitability and will be amended if required.
